This is an edible mushroom that belongs to the division of basidiomycetes, class of agaricomycetes, order boletus, family boletus, genus boletus.  The birch white mushroom ripens when the rye begins to sprout, hence the second name of the white mushroom - spikelet. The cap of the mushroom grows from 5 to 15 centimeters in diameter. At first, it has a pillow-like shape, and then it is more flat. The cap of the coot can be of different colors: white, light yellow or whitish-ochre, with smooth or wrinkled skin. The pulp is dense, white and has a mushroom aroma, after cutting it should not change color. The mushroom has a barrel-shaped leg of whitish-brown color, a white mesh is observed in the upper part of the leg. White birch mushroom is an edible and tasty mushroom.
