Primroses are rustic and hardy plants, able to overcome winter in different ways, therefore temperature is not a limiting factor in cultivation. They love bright exposures, but not direct sun, especially in the middle of summer.

In pot cultivation the plant can be easily moved. When raised in open ground you must find a position more sheltered from the sun, for example at the foot of trees and shrubs that provide shade, avoiding southern exposures.

Primroses do not need special care or attention so their cultivation is quite simple.
