Stropharia aeruginosa 10 g mycelium

The cap is 3-8 cm in diameter, cone-shaped, greenish-blue in color. Eventually it fades. The edge of the cap, sometimes only at a young age, with whitish remains of the private cover.

The pulp is white or grayish-white in color, with a pleasant mushroom smell and a weak spicy taste.

The hymenophore is lamellar, the plates attached to the stem are quite often located, bluish at a young age, purple-brown when ripe.

Spore brown-purple powder.

The leg is 4-10 cm long, flat, bluish in color, with a ring.

The mushroom is edible. Suitable for all types of cooking, including baking and salting. Before cooking, it is recommended to remove the slippery skin from the cap.

Occurs in late summer and autumn (until November), usually in groups, rarely singly, saprotroph.
