The most suitable location for this plant is a semi-shaded and warm location.

Calla is characterized by the fact that it is a marshy plant, which means that the best substrate will be soil with constant moisture. It is very willing to grow in peat or clay soils.

When the soil is properly prepared, the tuber is planted to a depth of 7-10 cm. The outgrowths must point upwards.

During the growth phase, the calla should be watered regularly, and during flowering, fertilized often. After flowering, the plant should go through a 4-6 week rest phase, which means it should not be watered or fertilized during this time.
